These terms are the agreement between you and Hardik Jain (“we”, “us”), who runs Reelive. They apply to the Reelive app and this website. By using Reelive you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Reelive. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
1. Who can use Reelive
You need to be at least 13 years old. If you’re under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent’s or guardian’s permission, and they agree to these terms for you.
2. Your account
You can look around Reelive without an account. To make reels, you sign in with Apple or Google. Keep access to that account safe: what happens in your Reelive account is your responsibility. One account is for one person.
3. Free reels
Your first 2 reels are free, with every template and no watermark. Free reels are given once per account and once per phone. A reel that fails doesn’t count.
4. Reelive Pro
Reelive Pro lets you make more reels. It’s available in two ways:
- Pro Yearly is a subscription that renews automatically every year until you cancel it.
- Week Pass is a one-time purchase that gives you Pro for 7 days and never renews. A pass bought while another is still running starts when that one ends.
Prices are shown in the app before you buy. In the US, Pro Yearly costs $49.99 a year and the Week Pass $5.99. In other countries the App Store shows the price in your currency, including any taxes.
Payment and renewal. Purchases are made through your Apple ID and charged when you confirm them. Pro Yearly renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current year. Your Apple ID is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the year ends. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings. Deleting the app or your Reelive account doesn’t cancel it.
Fair use. To keep Reelive fast for everyone, Pro lets one account make up to 30 reels a day, with up to 3 being made at the same time. Reels that fail don’t count.
Refunds and withdrawal. Apple sells the purchases in the App Store, so Apple’s terms apply to refunds and to any right of withdrawal you have as a consumer. You can ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can’t refund App Store purchases ourselves.
Price changes. We may change the price of Pro. A new price for Pro Yearly applies only from your next renewal, and Apple tells you about it beforehand as its rules require.
5. Your content
It stays yours. You keep all rights to the photos, videos and text you add, and to the reels you make. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, analyse, edit and render your content, only so that we can provide Reelive to you. The licence ends when you delete the content or your account.
You need the rights. Only add content you’re allowed to use, and respect the rights of the people in your photos and videos. Don’t add content that is illegal, or that infringes someone else’s rights, sexually exploits anyone, or promotes violence or hatred. We may remove content that breaks these rules and, in serious cases, close the account.
Keep your own copies. Save the reels you want to keep to your phone. Reelive isn’t a backup service.
6. Templates, music and the app
The templates, their music and designs, and the app itself belong to us or are licensed to us. You may use them only to make reels with Reelive. Don’t extract, copy, sell or redistribute templates or music on their own.
Using your reels. You can post and share the reels you make, on social media and elsewhere, for yourself or for your business, for example on a creator or company account.
Music is different. The songs in templates are for personal posts only. If a reel promotes a business, product or brand, is an ad or a paid partnership, or is posted from a business account, mute the template’s song or replace it with music that is licensed for commercial use, such as the commercial music libraries of Instagram and TikTok. Platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube may also apply their own rules to music in the videos you post, for example by muting it.
7. AI results
Reelive uses automated analysis to choose and arrange your moments. The results may not always be what you expected. If you don’t like a reel, you can try another template.
8. Fair play
Don’t misuse Reelive. In particular, don’t:
- try to get around limits, free reels or payments, for example with multiple accounts or modified apps;
- access Reelive by automated means, scrape it, or overload it;
- reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- use Reelive to break the law or someone else’s rights.
9. Changes and availability
We keep improving Reelive, so features may change. We work to keep it available, but can’t promise it will always run without interruptions, for example during maintenance.
We may update these terms, for example when we add features or the law changes. If a change affects you, we’ll tell you in the app at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don’t agree, you can stop using Reelive and delete your account before then. Changes never reduce what you’ve already paid for in your current period.
10. Ending
You can stop using Reelive at any time and delete your account in the app under Settings. Remember to cancel any subscription in your Apple ID settings, too.
We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and in that case we’ll tell you why. We may also end the service for everyone with reasonable notice. If we do, we’ll stop selling Pro well before, and you’re entitled to get back what you paid for Pro time you can no longer use.
11. Liability
We’re liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz), and where we’ve given a guarantee.
For slight negligence, we’re only liable if we breach an essential obligation: one that makes the proper use of Reelive possible in the first place and that you can reasonably rely on. In that case our liability is limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of agreement. Otherwise, we aren’t liable for slight negligence.
These limits also apply to the people who work for us. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can’t be limited by law.
12. Apple App Store terms
If you got Reelive from Apple’s App Store, the following also applies:
- These terms are between you and us, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for Reelive and its content.
- Licence. We give you a non-transferable licence to use Reelive on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. Other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing may also use it.
- Maintenance and support. We’re solely responsible for maintenance and support of Reelive. Apple has no obligation to provide any.
- Warranty. We’re solely responsible for any product warranties, whether given by law or by us, to the extent they aren’t effectively disclaimed. If Reelive doesn’t conform to an applicable warranty, you may tell Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to Reelive.
- Product claims. We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to Reelive or your possession or use of it, including product liability claims, claims that Reelive fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
- Intellectual property. If a third party claims that Reelive or your possession and use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
- Legal compliance. You confirm that you’re not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo or designated by the US Government as a “terrorist supporting” country, and that you’re not listed on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
- Third-party terms. You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use Reelive, such as your mobile network’s.
- Third-party beneficiary. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
- Contact. Questions, complaints or claims about Reelive go to us, at the address in section 15.
13. Reporting illegal content
If you find content in Reelive that you believe is illegal, email support@reelive.app with “Report” in the subject. Tell us where the content is, why you think it’s illegal, and your name and email address, and confirm that your report is accurate and made in good faith. We’ll review it promptly and tell you what we decided.
The same address is our single point of contact under the EU Digital Services Act, for users and for authorities. You can write to us in English or German.
14. Law and disputes
German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you’re a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
If you’re a merchant, the courts of Berlin have jurisdiction.
We’re not willing or obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
